That committee was established to deal with traffic court issues, including modifying and addition of new traffic court rules. In December 2010, Mr. Haenel and Mr. Finebloom were asked to speak at the new Judge symposium in Pinellas County Florida. David and Darren each presented material to the new Judges(and some old ones) on the top 10 issues that defense lawyers had with the bench.

Out of State Residents – Because of the tourist nature of our state, we receive calls daily from motorists licensed out of state who received a speeding ticket in Florida and are interested in their options.   Many states will not honor the traffic school election available to motorists within 30 days of receiving the citation. Therefore, their only option to prevent the citation from transferring back to their home state is to try and fight the citation in court.
